Description
This is the HSSA/HE/FF, sold by Hispec. It is a heat detector alarm, powered by the mains system with wireless interconnection. It has a 9V battery backup, with a low battery signal so you always know when the battery needs changing. It can connect with up to 19 other alarms and can communicate using radio waves. With a five year guarantee there’s no need to fear it breaking. This alarm triggers at 60°C, this can not be changed.
This heat alarm is most suitable in the home. Its best use is in dusty areas where smoke alarms will trigger but heat alarms won’t. It’s small size, of 120mm in diameter, means it can be easily installed anywhere. It can be heard around the home with its 85dB alarm at 3 metres. It has a built in test button.
